I thought I was the only one that's taking forever! When did you apply? Is your background check in progress?

It says in Process. We haven't had an update since Feb 22 when our BGC started. We emailed them but all they said was our application is within the time frame.

How can I order notes? We did email them but they said that our application is within the timeframe.

We still haven't received any updated. No DM or anything. Background check still in progress since February 22. I even checked the spam emails but there wasn't anything there either.

Let's hope we both get DM next week! That would be great! I was being so patient but I was seeing many people get DM already and their BGC only took a few days or a week and I was getting discouraged.

Yes that timeline is very quick! I applied at the end of November and I think they started processing it at the beginning of December. The only thing on our application is the PA has something come up on the background check but it was from 9 or 10 years ago and it wasn't a summary offense...

I just checked ecas and it still says in progress. I'll check my spam but it'll be a lot of crap to go through! Hopefully it's there! That would be amazing! Thank you for your help. I'll update you if it's there or not.

Still no PPR, that's why I'm so inpatient. If I get PPR it won't show up on mycic? It'll be through email only? I haven't checked my spam

Very few people will have PPR this soon. From the spreadsheet it looks like only 2 people are in background check. This seems normal. This is stressful for all of us but thinking too much about it and stressing out won't make anything better. Stay positive. It's hard being away from my husband...

Any updates? Is anybody's background check in progress yet?

I though the medical got checked after AOR2 but my husband's medicals got checked while they were processing my (sponsor) application. I'm not sure how it works

I got an email after a few days of it saying decision made and the email said I was approved as a sponsor.
