Emailed CPP Ottawa yesterday, got a response today stating that I am "in process" and nothing is needed of me at this time. :)

a lot of applications are currently being sent to Ottawa, but I think it depends where you are from.

Ok. Would she be able to move to canada with him then start the sponsorship while they are both in canada? Any details I can get about this would be great.

My Husband (US Citizen) and I are planning on traveling to Italy in October, right around the time we are expected to get a passport request. If the passport request comes before the trip are we able to send a photocopy of his passport, or does it have to be the real deal?

I called the office to see where my Husbands was. They didn't seem to mind the call at all. They let me know it was on the way. It took 7 weeks for mine.
