Did you apply for the visa yet?? I'm thinking to do so by the end of this year IF I don't recieve any correspondence from them, though mine was rejected twice. Idk how to just sit back n wait for this immigration thing to come through.

A developed country like Canada has no system. Seriously depressing!!! But atleast we can hope that moving the files might have a positive impact. Hope for the best n prepare for the worst!

The due dates mentioned on the GCMS notes, do they even follow them or just put them to give us false hopes?:/ this entire process is seriously nerve racking! They won't give us a visit visa so tht we can atleast go for some months n reside with our spouses, nor do they process our PR quickly...

In the beginning it says that application status open and status reason is in progress though nothing is started yet regarding security, criminality etc. Correspondence was just incoming. Nothing outgoing. That means they haven't asked for anything yet. Btw do they evaluate the relationship...

You can not apply for an OWP for your spouse if you are a permenant resident or citizen. That's for Outland sponsorship applications. For inland you can apply for OWP for your spouse regardless of whatever your status is in the country.
