English school for new Immigrants in Montreal

Thanks for your answer. Actually, we speak French at home. So it's OK on the oral level. I'm just wondering how hard it will be for him to start as a beginner in written French. Will he be able to catch up? When we started the whole process of immigrating to Quebec, we thought we will be able...

Do you know how long it takes a letter to reach your country from Canada? If they send you the request on 2nd October, they may have sent the letter by post after that date. You may need to wait a bit more before contacting them.

Have you checked on the website link included in their message if there is a contact? Otherwise, tell your lawyer. I think you can contact them via GCkey but I'm not sure.

Can you share your experience with the medicals? Did you do it in London? For the police clearances, you have to wait for their letter. Maybe contact them in a couple a days if you haven't received it.

how do your children cope with French in school?

Hi all, I'd like to have testimony of people who immigrated to Quebec and whose children were in English speaking schools before. How did they cope with French speaking schools, especially if they started in secondary schools? My kids are 10 and 12. Thanks

Normally, you should inform them of any change ASAP. So let them know your new address even if it's not 6 months yet. As for your medical, if I were in your situation, I would call them to check what to do.

My AOR is 14 Feb 2018 and no update. I don't think we'll have any news before November as the processing time is very long at the moment. From what I read on forums, they ask for the medicals and any other documents closer to the end of the processing time, that is 17 months.
