I apologize for a stupid question , but do you mind to share step by step process of sending your passports ? Have you packed them altogether in one package ? What about photos - altogether for all applicants or separated them for each ? Did you have to submit Annex A ?

Yes, Yes, my case took 3 months to process , which is less than most of the applications. Which proves the theory that they don’t care about asylum pending somewhere else. My office was Ottawa . Good luck to everyone, I’ll keep posted once I mail/receive my passport .

Hi !! Yes - good news , I received a PPR ! So, that means good news for all of you guys - Asylum status in US doesn’t matter , I still need to mail my passport though for actual visa stamping .

I’m not 100% sure since I’ve used consultant services , but on the email they’ve forwarded to me I can see it says : “Case Processing Centre – Ottawa Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada”. So, I guess Ottawa it is .

I also used a representative to handle my case and I worried about not having any access as well , but for me it went well - received my PPR today ! I believe you can use this information...

Update : received PPR today ! Applied under Express Entry , AOR received in December 28th of 2018. Took exactly 3 month till the PPR.

No news from my side - only submitted biometrics like 1.5 months ago . What about you ? Can you see on which stage your application is at ?

I’m married , I’m a primary applicant , so 2 people in the application- me and my husband . No PPR yet and no clue which stage I am at since I’ve used a consultant to apply and they aren’t really sharing that intermediate information

Well, you aren’t really in the same situation, you aren’t inside the US with asylum pending , which kind of makes our cases more complex . But the fact that your asylum case was denied in Europe shouldn’t impact your PR application if you clarify all those details in your application . Other...
