Express Entry CEC before one year

@chiragbatra the idea is to send an LOE on why we didn't update the Canadian work experience on the profile. Because of the glitch. Some people that kept it were invited to CEC the last draw and had to decline the ITA. So just keeping it doesn't solve the problem either :(

    Eligibility Question

@aristotelian If it says "Update not Submitted" I think you saved your update but have not transmitted it yet. Be sure you clicked on "Transmit" after you save your changes. For me, it changes immediately to Submitted, and takes around 20min to remove the CEC Eligible flag.

Express Entry CEC before one year

My plan is to remove the Canadian Experience from the profile @saantiftw and add it again on the APR. After the ITA. Since it doesn't change my CRS anyway.

Eligible for CEC with just 2 month work experience

Hey @USA_student_to_Canada , this seems to be a different (and old) glitch, which happens when you get close to completing one year of experience. Please check CEC invite with 11 months 3weeks | Canada Immigration Forum (canadavisa.com)

    Eligibility Question

Me to @Deiniol, I'm mainly using the hour thing now to force a profile update, just to check if the issue was fixed without having to remove the entry and add it again.

Eligible for CEC with just 2 month work experience

It seems to be a glitch @sarveshkalyan, it happens if you include any Canadian experience, event if it is way less than 1 year

    Eligibility Question

Btw, I found out that if you use 2 or fewer "Hours per week" for the Canadian experience the system flags the profile as not CEC eligible anymore... I'm not sure yet how useful that is... It's a shame IRCC has not fixed this yet.

    Eligibility Question

@aristotelian @Deiniol What I understand from this passage is that the Express Entry profile is locked, but you can change the info on your APR (which is different from your profile). This is also what I could get from many other posts from this forum when people talk about changing stuff...

    Eligibility Question

So I still think removing the Canadian Experience and adding it after ITA would be the best course of action. Either that or wait until they fix the issue... but god knows when that will happen...

    Eligibility Question

@Deiniol What I mean is that if we keep the Canadian experience and apply under CEC, this could lead to a refusal. And it doesn't seem like it would be easy to just argue with the agent that it was a system glitch and it's their fault. Based on what I saw on other posts it doesn't matter to...

    Eligibility Question

Me too @Deiniol, after all, we are not doing anything that changes de CRS score or gives us an advantage in any way. I saw in this forum that there is another old glitch in the system where people receive ITA for CEC with 11 months and 3 weeks of experience. And the recommendation is to refuse...

    Eligibility Question

Hey @Deiniol, any news from IRCC? I received a message from them saying that "While examining your application, we have noticed that the situation reported in your Web form request is now resolved.", which is not true, the issue is pretty much still there, I even tried to remove my Canadian...

    Eligibility Question

The issue is the Canadian experience for me too (2 months). I believe I'll be invited on the next draw (my CRS is 491), I'm thinking if it's not simpler for me to just remove it from the Express Entry profile now and add it again on the final application. I'm not sure it would be...

    Eligibility Question

It seems to be a system glitch. It's happening to me and to several other members of this forum. I couldn't find a solution yet. Let's hope IRCC fixes it soon.

Express Entry CEC before one year

Yes, the same thing happened to me. 2 months of Canadian experience and it says I'm CEC eligible. It started happening after the NOC 2021 changes on Nov. 16. They probably introduced this bug as part of this change.

Eligible for CEC with just 2 month work experience

I also opened a bug ticket with IRCC. Let's hope it solves it. (edit: If it is indeed a bug)

Eligible for CEC with just 2 month work experience

Same here, I even recreated my profile (since it was just 1 week old), but the problem persists. I hope I'm not invited to apply for CEC instead of FSW because of a system bug. I noticed that if I remove my Job Offer it stops saying that I meet the CEC criteria (I did this just for testing).

Temporary Work Permit Application - Missing Employment Records for all 10 years

I'm applying for a Temporary Work Permit through an LMIA, and it asks for my employment history of the last 10 years, and it also asks to provide employment records (including a reference letter from each of these employers). The problem is, for my firts two employers I have nothing to prove I...
