Has anyone submitted the passport by himself to the visa office for stamping? How long does it take and what exactly do you do? Is there any possibility that it might not stamped the same day? I was not given so much information by the cic email and need some details. thank you maple

What is your visa office? I do not see why they would not answer. I usually get a response within 2-3 days. maple

Hello money, thank you. I got the request by email (e-post). The last time I emailed them was beginning of July and they replied to me that my file was with the immigration officer for final review. But then nothing on my part until my e-case changed last Tuesday and the ppr via email...

I am asked to submit the passport before Sept 2010. I am not sure though about the visa. I think I will not be given a long time because my medical already expired. Thanks for your good wishes. Same to you. maple

Thank you all for the good wishes. I am not sure when to land. I am already in Canada so I think it is easier for me to choose Flagpole landing at the US border. Luckily, I was not asked to redo the medical.

Two days after status change into medical results have been received ....an email from Buffalo requesting the passports. So much relief after this long wait...

When did you file your application? Did you email your visa office and ask for an update?

That is what makes life sweet...It is..full of surprises ...some are sweet, some are bitter. Eventually it is worth waiting.
