I have not reapplied. I am still in MI-1 and waiting :-) You are right, I have given up this several times but then, some event would happen and bring back the hope. Living in India is plan A. Like Dhillon said, going to Canada is Plan B - Z. There is no other country I want to go to.

If I remember correctly, few months back you wanted all the visa applicants to unite and protest against the delay in processing. You may have even applied for student visa to avoid the delays of MI-1. But now you are saying, 2 years wait is OK but people should not wait for 4years. May be true...

As long as there is no time-to-market pressure, you can be as professional as a professional can be. I think there is no pressure on VO offices as long as meet their quota. It is a good thing!

I read somewhere that it applies to all VO. Somebody who applied with NDVO also got the same reply. I could not locate that thread.. I was thinking that everybody could get into In Process by end of March. No action in last one week.May be the VO is busy with MI-3. Goodluck to all of us!

May be they forgot to remove the line that was existing since Nov 2011: "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." ECAS can be showing wrong status. Wait for further communication from NDVO. Goodluck to you!

Some threads I read seem to indicate that you can expect MR in 4months or less after getting into In Process (IP). I hope they give priority to our applications. Goodluck to all waiting for In Process!
