Folks I am really happy for people who got their PPRs and am really sorry to hear that some of my friends are still waiting for it. Just from my experience, if you have waited long enough for PPR and haven;t received it, try keeping Immigration minister in loop, it does make a difference...

Reply back..very politely saying something like.. Honorable VO, please send me the PPR as all docs have been submitted by me, please let me know if I can do something to expedite the app process. see if that works...

I believe as we have a new minister in the deptt, there might be some policy changes made in the office, thats why we are seeing these requests again.. anyways, just wondering is there a signature n the bottom of email, like NN 0115 or something. this officer was the one who sent me 4 emails...

. I believe you should receive PR card n 30 business days..you can always call 1888 242 2100, and request them to expedite the card processing

I received my PPR on 6th July, sent my PP same day, it was delivered on 10th,, on 12th July I got confirmation that its been received and app is in queue Hope this helps... waiting for my PP to get back
