Made a submission today, and received AOR DEC 04, 2019. No payment window for the biometrics, instead I paid and submitted the receipt through web inquiry. Sigh

Your wife will be most likely to lose status if not landing. In law this document cannot be extended, explain at the border in favor of your wife situation, and let them explain what to do. Plus, you can always sponsor your child and spouse later on once became PR.

yes, you can. depending on where you are, if you are in Canada, your WP will be mailed to you without requesting for your passport. Plus, your EE probably will have a result by then
