Congratulations! This is great! I just have a question though: did you submit your application to CEM directly? Im just wondering 'cause I thought all applications need to be submitted to CIO. Are you in Canada or in the Philippines?

There is another applicant on trackitt who received his PPR yesterday (Aug 13). He is a January 2012 applicant, and he said his VO is Detroit. It gives me hope that Ottawa guys who applied in January this year (eg Superhero, jonmonc) should be getting their PPR soon...

what is your visa office? what about your friends who already got their PR, are they also PNP and what is their visa office?

I really hope so. Though I believe that we will eventually have to submit our passports to one of the VOs in the US for visa stamping (I hope this time comes soon)

I totally agree... it's all dependent on the visa office and the visa officer! I'm pretty sure Ottawa is on its way to becoming the next Buffalo...

Holygun, romeosaab: we're in the same boat, guys... we have very similar timelines... Jonmonc and Superhero, who submitted their application on jan 19 to cpp-ottawa, had their ecas changed to IN PROCESS in mid July. If the cpp-ottawa officers are working at the same pace, I really hope our ecas...

The declaration of intent to reside in Quebec document you signed simply means that you intend to reside in Quebec, and not in any other Canadian province. It does not preclude you from living in another country.
