I did it last year, it took me total of 6 weeks to get it. When I called them after 4 weeks, they told my application was just picked.

not sure how it exactly works, it shows in progress from Feb 11, So it's 2 months now..

yes, I sent an email to them asking a differnt question about my Kids who are from Visa exempt country and I am not. in the same email I asked about my medicals if they received. Surprising I got reply in about 4hrs and they said that they recieved my medicals and under review, it was on Mar 10...

not sure how the ECAS changes happen, My medicals were uploaded on Feb 22 and also I got confirmation from CIC on Mar 10 that they recieved my medicals and under review but My ECAS is still not updated with "Medical Received"
