Can anyone help me to answer this pls.how is it possible for ircc to start background check when someone has not yet given them police report that they requested? I have not yet given my police report but the automated system says they have started my background check.

U have to mension that.there is a place where they ask if u have been to jail,detained or arrested u should answer yes then explain d reason why

Write and explain to them why u don't have a passport.my friend did not have a passport and they waived it for her.she applied to renew at the embassy but her appointment date was far ahead before her landing date so ircc waived it

First stage was done by lawyer and my second stage will still be done by him but there are certain information that I always like to contact ircc by myself because if u wait on them they will never do it

Maybe they won't ask u to do one anymore because mine is expired to and they did not ask me to redo

Sure. This whole thing is very stressful until u become a permanent resident.anything ircc ask even if its an error the lawyer will.only tell u to do it.if u ask them to write and inquire they will never do it. My lawyer.i says if they are asking my husband who is a canadian to do medicals he...

How can I contact let the officer processing my second stage to let him or her know that my husband is a canadian citizen and he is not supposed to do medicals. That's just waste of money

Yes I did medicals before aip.my spouse is a Canadian so u don't know why they are asking him to do one

Ircc sometimes get very confused.i just received medical instruction for my kids.they did not ask me to do but they asked my husband to do medicals who is already a citizen. Do you people think its a mistake just as I do?

To save some money.posting it from my country to here is expensive

Does ircc accept scanned copies of police report or they only accept original copy?

My lawyer told me I can apply but I haven't tried yet
