I think Prospective Inventory 8,000+ is just an assumed number, hence total number is reaching 10,000. Realistically, only 1,264 SUV PR applications are in Processing Inventory and this seems reasonable and this is inline with earlier actual numbers quoted by IRCC also.

@Rakap - It's quite unlikely that anyone with Nov/Dec 2020 AOR would have even got an ADR, let alone PR decision. I am yet to find anyone from May 2020 who has even got a Medical Request, so you can uderstand that anyone claiming Nov/Dec 2020 AOR getting PR decision is not accurate.

@totti2007 - this doesn't mean anything. Such updates are automated based on time and are not linked to your actual file status. I know it sounds lame, but thats IRCC for you. So don't read too much into this update and wait for the additional document or passport request only.

@ZubairBabar - Not sure what are you expecting in reponse. But common sense would say online application would be faster to get there versus snail mail. Besides that it's irrelevant as most ppl are waiting for over 2 years and average waiting time is almost 3 years.

They have quoted the IRCC report which had stated 1,378 pending SUV PR applications as of Oct, 2021.

It's hard to say as 31 months is average processing time and based on the current delays and priortization of other streams, it looks like SUV will take longer than 31 months. Most of us have not received any update in 24 months, so fair to say it's an easy 3 years wait time unless they do...

@cybertruck - not sure where you are getting the number of 6000 applications. As per IRCC, as of Oct 2021 there were appox. 1,300 SUV PR applications under processing. And that includes applications from 2020 also, so it's well within in the 1000 annual quota.
