Hi, It is not a requirement however good to have a valid passport for citizenship application. In the forms there is a section where you have to specify that reason why were you without a valid passport. Hope it helps.

Folks, I know this question has been asked so many times, however I want to double check. What should we take with ourselves on the test/ interview date? 1. Letter of invitation for test 2. Job confirmation 3. Pay stubs 4. Bank statement 5. Rental agreement/ Home ownership 6. School records...

I don't think individual or family application will make a big difference. I sent my application one day before my Family (3 member). Our test date is the same.

My Application is still In Process. Waiting for the test invite. Checking my mail box every evening after work :'( :'( :'(

December and January will be slow again. Because of Christmas vacations.

I don't know how CIC process applications once delivered. Because there are applications pending for AOR, delivered before September 10th and then there are applications sent after September 20th and they are in Process. Any Idea?

Location - Toronto App Mailed - September 20, 2016 App Delivered - September 23, 2016 AOR Received - In Process - Cit Test invite - Cit Test taken - Oath - fingers crossed. Usually the AOR takes 3 weeks now a days.

Any one noticed the website. They updated the main application effective September 2016. I think we need to submit the new application now.
