Sucks eh! I know the reason why my application is delayed. My passport was expired for 2 years and I had not renewed it. That was potentially a reason. Any little thing can set you off for more checks! Did you have any?

When did you have the test

They didn’t tell me either. They told my MP. In general if your application after test doesn’t say DM means you are required further screening and checks.

I am in the same situation still in process and they say background check is on progress with no specific timeline! They say it’s normal for non routine applications I am not sure why I am non routine any way

Hey guys my application is still in process (14 month) and I had my test 2 months ago. Does it make sense to ask MP to doa follow up on my application?? I emailed CIC and they just said we confirm that your application is still in process! No more details. I am an OCT applicant from Calgary

They hit a new low honestly this so called IRCC. It took 7 month for me to get the AOR and as always everything looked great from their perspective. After one year I went for test and after almost two months is still in process and no clarity they don’t even tell you if they do background checks...

Call them or email them. I did and suddenly I got the test.

Guys I have the test next week. Can someone tell me if they need US entry/exit. I have travelled twice to US for conference 2 weeks altoghter. I went to US border website and they gave me the last 5 years US entry? is it sufficient?

I got the test invite after almost 12 months. Can someone tell me what document they mean when they say “bring all the orginal documents you submitted with your application?”

maybe but lots of people also got their citizneship. it is just unfair!

please can you help me with this question. My wife had temporary status wen she applied for in-land. But then she became out of status since we didnt apply for OWP. Next week we have landing interview. I understand that for PR they took exception for out of status spouse. But what do we expect...
