March 17 AOR September 28 Biometrics in Calgary

I called a week after I gave my biometrics, agent said background check in progress and security not started. Got my COPR Oct 16. It was 18 days after biometrics.

Bio was 28th!

Got COPR this morning! AINP - EE inside Canada March 17 AOR Bio done Sept 27 in Calgary Hang in there folks! Now how soon do we get PR card? Been wanting to go home ASAP :)

I got private number when they called.

When I had my biometrics done they had trouble getting fingerprint in my little/pinkie finger. Had to try 3x. Maybe same thing happened to you but they didn't catch it that time.

On work permit that will expire in January 2021. Don't know if I would need to apply for BOWP since biometrics was submitted September 30th. Just hoping to get COPR so no need to pay anymore fees

Hi Sadia95, have you tried calling them? We have the same AOR date. Called them tuesday, agent said eligibility and medical passed, background in progress and security not started. Gave biometrics sept 28.

Just got off the phone with an IRCC agent. Asked for my status update, she said: Eligibility passed Medical passed Criminality in progress Security not yet started Just gave my biometrics last week 28th September. My wp will expire on 31 January 2021. Hoping that I won't need to...

Inland? When was your biometrics? Same AOR as mine, ordered notes last week but no idea when I would get it.

Got called last week, did biometrics on monday in Calgary. Lady said Edmonton office is still closed, even if my nearest SCO is Edmonton. Said yes to the Calgary office. AOR is 17th March.

Biometrics done! Now just waiting for COPR.

I got a call yesterday, told them my nearest SCO is Edmonton but lady said Edmonton is still closed. Only available was Calgary. So I said yes to Calgary SCO.

Got the call for biometrics schedule today. AOR 17 March BIL 4 May Calgary, Scheduled for 28th

They had extended the international travel restrictions to Canada till end of September. :( This might affect issuance of PPR for outland applicants.

And lots of applicants even if inside canada do not have biometrics on file.

It's the last day of July and no news on what would happen regarding biometrics. They have been closed since middle of March.
