Does anyone know if a US Forklift operators licence is accepted in Canada? We're not sure if my husband has to get certified here in Canada too.

Thanks, but no go - I tried, I asked my MP to send an e-mail to them explaining that my husband was offered a few jobs, and that he can't take them because it is still in process. Same thing - in que for final review.

Yep, getting very frustrating for us Sept. applicants! But that is government for you, even if we paid them a million dollars for immigration, I think they still would sit there with their thumbs up their *&%&$* >:(

We have been checking e-cas and it used to have a spot saying our current address, and how to change it. Now it still says in process but now our address and option to change has been removed! Hopefully this is a good sign, too late to change the address because we HOPEFULLY be getting PPR very...

Wow that is great news!! :D Congrats, sounds like good news to me. What was the last update you had before this? Ours in in que for final review by an officer.

We didn't pay it up front either, we received a letter saying to pay it and that interview was waived. We paid the fee on Nov 30/10 and still haven't received PPR. :(

MP just contacted us with an update. Husband's file is in a que for final review by an officer!!! ;D :D PPR any day I hope!!!

My husband really needs to get a job soon, things are tight around here..it is very stressful!

When my husband is able to land, we want to get his work tools shipped up from California. Anyone have a similar situation? What company did you use to transport the tools etc.. here? and the cost? Do you have to pay duty on used tools you would be bringing from the US to Canada? Thanks!
