    Is there anyone here who applied for PR within canada awaiting AOR? I am looking to see the approx timeframe it takes so any experience you share will be useful. The CIC agent on the phone mentioned it is 12 weeks but I see different information here.

    Speeding Ticket query

    While answering the question " have you been convicted of criminal offence in canada or any other country" - should the OP mention "yes" or "no" if he had a speeding ticket in the UK and 3 points on his drivers license. The Police clearance from the UK says "No Trace" Please advise.

    Sorry to hear about your situation. I dont quite understand how you can be deported for the sole reason of calling the cops when stranded? why did that turn into a court order?     Thankyou. Is the 2month timeframe for AOR issued by post and not email? The trend here is to get the AOR via email within one week from when they took the money. Am I mistaking something?

    I havent received the AOR yet although I have given my email ID - from the posts here, I am seeing everyone reporting the email being received in few days after withdrawing the fees. The money was taken out on 9 Dec, is there a reason for me to worry?

    MPNP I need some help please guys

    If you were a student in another province then you should work for 12 months and then apply. Since you have a 12 month contract, I doubt you will be able to do it unless they change the position to permanent full time as that is the second criteria to apply.
