    I have seen cases as long as 10 years, but those are way more complicated cases where people are involved in wars, detention, refugees, etc. Read some of the court cases from the Federal court website and you will see but for express for 95% cases it's from 6 months to 24 months max.

    Yes, that was the case for me. They put me in SS as of June, 2018 (AOR May, 2018). CSIS cleared the file and sent it back to IRCC as of Feb, 2019, now waiting for CBSA to clear the file which only god knows when they will do!!
