Congrats! What's the first email & second portal email for? Does it mean decision made?

Not sure if it is the last step. Mine comes after medical exam, but I saw some people got them before the medical exams.

Received my pre-arrival letter this morning after I found there was an update yesterday. Hope that the remained processing won't take too long.

What additional documents they are asking?

I just past medical exam a few days ago. Today I logged into my account showing that my profiles are updated. But I did not see any actual updates, neither did I received any email notification.

5 days is really fast. I went to Luso and they told me it would take them more than 2 weeks to send the results...

Which clinic did you do your medical exam? They sent the results the other day!? I did my medical exam last week but I can't see anything updated by far.

Good to know! Thanks a lot for your reply! My wife had a medical exam in 2016 and I did it one year earlier. Not sure if the old test in 2016 could still be applicable in her case.

Thanks. The other strange thing is that I received the biometric document directly from my email when IRCC sent me the AOR. But I couldn't find it in my account after I linked my application to the account. However, today I got the medical request document from my account..

Is anyone applied as a family only get medical test for one person? I only got medical request for myself today after I received the AOR yesterday. Also I don't get Biometric request for my younger son. Is there a certain age for people to take Biometric? I appreciate if anyone has the similar...

Finally I received my AOR tonight. This time it's a bit faster than I expected. I submitted in November. Details in my signature.

It's insane that people applied PR in 2018 are still popping out in the middle of year 2021. The progress is worrisome.

I am also not an expert. But to my opinion, the signed agreement doesn't say you have to work in QC. He can still live in QC while working in Ottawa. Many immigrants don't even have a job but still contribute to the economy by consuming commodities.

But if you have a job in Ottawa, why bother to go through the endless struggle of QSW. Federal opens a new stream of 90,000 candidates and it would be much faster/

As long as your CSQ is not revoked, and I believe that there is no reason to revoke your CSQ because you still live in QC, so it should be fine.
