    I've heard that things move a little faster if you send documents and payments in before they ask for them. Police Certificates, in my case. We paid all our fees well ahead of them asking for payment. That helped.

    That's a good question. I sent my application and subsequent documents to Sydney NS. Correspondence received so far has been from Sydney NS. So I reference that location even though the Processing Times page only mentions Ottawa.

    It is interesting, even among those who are filed with the same processing office, that there is a large variance in processing times. Best of luck and hope your application is processed soon.
