As long as the study permit hasn't expired, you don't have to be afraid. I had same issue too but I got my open work permit. So domt worry about that.

Just relax have you done any recent medical in the past . That happened to me too and i called cic and it was confirmed that my old medical for study permit was what was used. So relax and wait for dm

Just spoke to Cic and the agent confirmed that they used my old medical and that's why my medical says passed.

Well I don't know what to think anymore because even my ECAS is showing medical received. But maybe they are using my previous medical. I'll call them on Monday I guess.

I just hope that's the case and that it's not a glitch and that I don't need to submit any other medicals

I did medical in December 2015 to be precise before coming to Canada, and it was for my study visa when I came to Canada, it even says in my ECAS that medical was received. I don't know what to make of it.
