    that’s correct. I did check with immigration personally. Once you have the OWP, you are in status (change of status to valid work visa) for 2 years term and the visitor visa doesn’t need to be extended any further.

    Hi all, I received my OWP letter that became in force from Nov 22, 2019. I landed here on visitor visa. Does OWP mean that I am ‘in status’ now, or I will need to apply for TRV/visitor visa extension before 6 months are up since entry into Canada? Many thanks,
