Does PGPW Implied Status experience counts in express entry experience?

Absolutely it does count. The time you worked on implied status is legitimate work experience that can be counted for your 1 year work experience. It's also stated so in the CIC website. Look it up! I personally don't have a similar experience but I have a couple of friends who worked on...

And you say that after living there for just 1 month? o_O Honey I have been living in Canada for 8 years and I don't think people are lazy at all :D and I am from a South Asian country so trust me I have seen both sides of the spectrum. If anything people in Canada know how to work smart, not...

I wouldn't want to do that. They might assume that your work experience have changed in some way and trying to let them know about it. Either way it's a sure way to confuse the case analyst or officer. Unless you have something quite harmless like a change of address or updated POF, I...

I know right  urgh Although there are some conspiracy theories running around that ircc is fudging the number of applicants in the pool to push the score up:D so in reality they might not even be sending half the itas they are claiming to have sent. I'm just repeating what I'm hearing...

I feel like they have been doing that quite a bit this year, what with reducing the number of ITAs and having constant three week gaps between draws. I'm sure they know they have chewed a bit more than they can swallow and is in a course to rectify the situation.

Landing in Ottawa without appointment - Aug 2019. Is it possible?

I would probably advice to go the day before so that you can be there in the morning. You can try your luck and hopefully the.place won't be too crowded around midday or 1pm. I myself went early in the morning but the place packed up pretty fast by arpund 9 am. Try calling the CIC help center...

Landing in Ottawa without appointment - Aug 2019. Is it possible?

I did my landing without appointment at Ottawa office on May 28th. It's 100% still available. The office is open for walk in landings every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Try to go early so you won't stay in the line for too long. Good luck!

Applicants from Sri Lanka Connect here

Well I recommend you include all your travel dates when you apply for the PCC from Sri Lanka. They actually tell you to do this when you apply online. I went to Sri Lanka a few times during my stay abroad so I still included the dates I was physically present is SL in my PCC application from...

Nope, there have been numerous cases where people were either put in RR or out right rejected for POF exchange rate fluctuations. They can also ask for updated POF at anytime during the application process. Keep an eye out for exchange rates and it's always advisable to show more funds than...

Hmmm okay, I wasn't aware of that. So you have to get CoPR and finish landing before sending the passport of the secondary applicant? That's a bit inconvenient :/ Both your CoPRs and PR procedures should be completed at the same time as far as I know. Found this thread. Maybe it's helpful...

Congratulations Upasana!! So so happy for you! I believe your husband should submit his passport to IRCC in Ottawa since he's in Canada (both passports have to be submitted. Your to Kolkata and his to Ottawa). Wasn't there a separate sheet of instructions on how to submit his passport? If...

Where is our PR card? And another important question...

I landed at the Ottawa office too (May 28th) and I still haven't gotten my PR card either. Seems like a recurring issue with the applicants landing at the Ottawa office :/

Agreed. The basis for adding a LOE is to cover all grounds and also ensure that you are following according to the regulations. If there's even the slightest chance at a discrepancy in your documents, you should attach a LOE to explain it. One of the greatest pieces of advice I've received...

Ray of Hope - 120th Draw

Honestly speaking, considering all the backlogs they have at the moment, I doubt they would want to add new applicants to their already overflowing work load. I have a feeling they would keep the ITAs at a down low until they clear all the applications that's past the processing time. So many...

Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

Hmmm yeah the tracker is a bit behind but then the sample size is not that accurate in it either. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/passport-sent-to-ottawa-2019-after-ppr.610018/page-147 Seem to have a lot of people landed after June 1 st getting their...
