Experience in home country and studying in Canada - eligible for applying Express entry ?

No, you don't need a job offer. Hopefully you will have enough points without it.

    CELPIP test scores so ridiculous

Of course I don't, what a ridiculous assumption. I just don't think you have a solid case at all. Besides, for every person who complains about CELPIP I'm sure there are hundreds who don't.

You do not meet the minimum entry criteria.

Are you sure you fulfill the minimum entry criteria? I'm guessing you want to apply for FSW, so check if you have at least 67 points here...

Experience in home country and studying in Canada - eligible for applying Express entry ?

Of course you can apply for FSW, why couldn't you? It doesn't matter that you're a student at the moment. If anything, you should apply as soon as possible to avoid paying international student tuition fees.

Canada Landing Experience at Peace Bridge/Return to US on AVR (H1B)

Very nice of you to take the time and describe your experience. The "ma'am" and "sir" parts sounded so formal, almost army-like :) Is it typical in India/the US to address people like that? I've never heard it in Canada.

    CELPIP test scores so ridiculous

And you're gonna base your lawsuit on what exactly? You should use that time and effort to either improve your English or take IELTS if you think CELPIP is a scam. Have any of you actually gotten significantly better IELTS scores compared to CELPIP?

    Ray of Hope 111th draw

Well why didn't you apply earlier? There should be at least one more draw before the 27th.

Sensitive questions worst scenario ( for info only)

Plus, you shouldn't carry your PR card around. Only take it when you need to prove your PR status, because if you lose it it takes at least two months to get a new one. You can apply for a provincial driver's licence or ID card and keep that in your wallet as proof of identity.

    6 feb or 13 feb

I don't think there's ever been three back-to-back draws in succession.

    Moving home during application

It's not like you get more points if you apply from Canada... If you know you will be in England during PR processing, you should definitely use your British address when submitting the application.

CIC doesn't "raise" or "lower" the score on a whim. It depends solely on the number of invitations and the number of candidates in the pool.

    homemaker vs unemployed

Yes, but you also failed to mention that the current unemployment rate of 5.6% is the lowest in over 40 years. Is that what you meant when you said that the employment scene has changed? It's true that the unemployment rate among recent immigrants is around 9%, but it's not an alarmingly high...

What are you talking about? It's not his fault that the system rounds up the experience duration. He earned it fair and square.

    CELPIP test scores so ridiculous

    I got a 12 in speaking and I didn't think I did particularly well.

Small town immigration and I'm the only minority.

That Ridge guy was utterly chauvinistic in his now-deleted comment. For some reasons he thinks Canadians should adapt to his "North-East European" standard. He should move back to where his unfriendly ways are appreciated.

Canada is a G7 country and very much first world, thank you very much. Why did you move out of Stockholm if you liked it so much?

    Temporary accommodation in Vancouver required

I'd suggest to check Kijiji, Craigslist and FB groups. Be warned- there are lots of fake ads and scammers on Craigslist, it's ridiculous. Never pay anything upfront without actually seeing the place and meeting the person. Airbnb is an option too, but can be quite expensive. Langley ≠...

Ray of Hope - 105th draw

Better life? What's wrong with your current life, pray tell? I'm European and I pay a lot less taxes in Canada than I did in my home country. Universal health care and government programs need to be financed somehow, and I think Canada hits the sweet spot. Besides, do you even know how much...

The more you know... Still, government offices should not be affected by something that's not even close to a public holiday.
