Hi Sharma1990, This is the first time my BG changed to In progress, till yesterday it was not needed. My AOR was 1st Feb and file was transferred to NDVO on April 6th. I got it at exactly 8th months after AOR and 6 months after it was moved to NDVO.

Hi Everyone, After 8 months wait I finally got PPR today. I am a FSW Inland applicant, NDVO and Feb 1st AOR. BG in progress and PPR at the same time.

They can give information it just depends on the agent. First time i called they said its in NDVO and cannot give any info. Second time i called a nice lady was able to give me the info.

I called CIC few weeks back and they said that my BG has started but not completed yet. But the status never changed in MyCIC.

yes, it was transferred to NDVO on April 6th. I am FSW Inland, BG never changed to In Progress. Its been same from day one.

That's great..is this first time your BG changed to in progress? I am Feb 1st AOR, FSW Inland. Mine is Not needed from the beginning.

Mine never changed to In Progress. It was not needed from beginning. AOR 1st Feb.

Congrats :-) Are you an Inland or Outland candidate? And what was the VO?

Is it possible that NDVO has their own timeline and they start calculating 6 month from the time they received the file? somehow I have this nagging feeling that's how they are working or I could be paranoid :D I don't see any other reason for such delays for a straight forward application.

Hi Rahul1990, Was your file transferred to NDVO or was it there from the beginning? I am trying to understand if file transfer date has any relevance.

Hey..i am in the same boat. AOR is 1st Feb, FSW Inland and NDVO office. When I called CIC 2 weeks back they said that my BG check has started but not completed yet( The status in myCIC is till not needed at this time). The agent sent out a note to VO to get back to be me if anything else is...
