Well, I can counter those good stories coming out of Buffalo! We'll have been waiting 8 months as of tomorrow. Sometimes I wonder if they assign an extra slow person to process all the temporary residents in Canada who apply through Buffalo as our punishment for not applying inland. :P

You have to leave by the date in the letter. There's no right of appeal for inland applications, so that avenue isn't available to you. I agree with Oil Sand Guy that your best bet is probably to get married, return to Mexico by the date required in the letter, and start the outland sponsorship...
