Can anyone please help me. I want to apply for OCI through marraige. My husband is still in India and I am in Canada. He doesn't have any landing papers since he hasnt been to Canada. My name is on his passport. They have asked for Spouse's landing documents. Can I still apply ? Thanks

Vanak, I am also first week Sep applicant and it seems like they skipped mine as well. Was yours first marriage and a "Straight forward" case? Looks like the two of us are in the same boat.

sonu1234 - Dont take my word for it but I thought the medicals were to check for diseases such as TB etc. Wouldn't it make sense to call the doctor and get guidance accordingly and just go get the medicals done. Why would u want to delay it because of chicken pox?

Did the Aug and Sep applicants who have Decision Made had upcoming expiries for the medical? Would that be the reason why they were just sent PPR request????

I guess if one were to be a Begining of Aug or Sep applicant and others from mid and end of those months are getting PPR requests, one can assume their file is flagged for interview or not considered a "straight forward case"? :(

Hi Preethi, When you guys say check ECAS, are you talking logging onto to the CIC website through check you application status and normally the line that says in underlined "In Process" >> that will be changed to "Decision Made" if one was as lucky as you?? Thanks, :)
