    missing UCI

Dear all, My wife and I each submit our EE profile (declaring the other as dependant). We both got our ITA and we proceeded with my PR application. Today I have submitted my PR (with my wife as dependant) and my wife then declined her ITA. During my PR application, the form asked for my wife's...

    PR application rejected after ITA

The logic behind POF is that the applicant can have sufficient money to survive in Canada. Also the question asked is how much would you bring into Canada. Hence I guess they will use the latest exchange rate, the date they do the check.

    PR application rejected after ITA

My wife just spotted this: "In your application you have declared an available amount of $12,400 in settlement funds." "You have submitted evidence for funds in the amount of $11,672" So either there was a huge fluctuation in exchange rate, or the fund was not enough right in the beginning, not...

    PR application rejected after ITA

What I found perplexing is that you said your dad moved some money into another account, causing it to drop. Does that mean somebody else can liquidate your own bank account? That in itself could be ground for rejection. Sorry if I misread anything.

Help required regarding work during studies

During PR application, you can mention the job in the personal history section. But if you put it in the Work History section (which shall count towards your points) in the PR application as well as in the EE profile, I'm afraid it's a problem because you're on student permit and student permit...

Overlapping Full time work experience with Bachelor's Degree

Hi, this Q&A is under topic 29 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/index-a-z-can.asp which is applicable for Canadian Experience Class (CEC). There are certain restrictions under CEC such as: "Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (such as on a co-op...

You already submitted the fingerprint and got COC?

    Singapore COC / PCC

I really don't know. I can only tell you that upon the successful fingerprint booking, my wife and I got a receipt with the title: "APPOINTMENT BOOKING FOR COC" and then: "Appointment Type: Fingerprint Scanning & Collection" I assume collection here means the COC. I hope i'm right because we...

    Singapore COC / PCC

I'm in the exact same situation with you. My wife and I chose self-collect and decided to book (successfully) the fingerprint anyway.

Overlapping Full time work experience with Bachelor's Degree

By the way @Vvek, they will ask you to upload the degree certificate, transcript, and ECA report. For me, all these docs clearly say my degree is full time. I hope none of yours say your degree is not full time.

Overlapping Full time work experience with Bachelor's Degree

Yes my degree was really full time, only at night time and weekends instead of day time. I'm not planning to explain it.

    Singapore COC / PCC

Hi @sat_cse28, may I ask: so you took your fingerprint elsewhere, then submitted it to SPF in person and received COC on the spot? Thanks in advance.

Overlapping Full time work experience with Bachelor's Degree

I did a search before I submitted my profile and another search today upon seeing your thread just to confirm, but I didn't save the link. You can do a search and will find plenty of people having the same situation like us and the advice is universal as I said earlier. In fact, as a lawyer, I...

Overlapping Full time work experience with Bachelor's Degree

A search on the forums shows that you're fine to claim for both the full-time study and full-time work provided that neither of them is in Canada. I'm in the same situation and am claiming for both.

    Estranged father and half-siblings

Thanks guys for sharing. We will consider. By the way @canada_eagle, I see that you got COC from Singapore, may I ask your opinion in this new thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/singapore-coc-new-approach.571781/ Thank you in advance.

    Singapore COC new approach?

Hi guys, I'd like to ask your experience with obtaining the Certificate of Clearance (COC) from Singapore Police Force (SPF). My wife and I (foreigners) have just submitted our appeal to SPF and are planning ahead. I understand that for foreigners, there are 3 ways in getting the fingerprint...

    Estranged father and half-siblings

Dear all, I'm at PR application stage now. My wife has an estranged father, and as a result, has some half siblings but my wife has no idea about their information such as full name, DOB , whereabouts. Can we leave them out? If not, how can we put them in. Thank you so much.
