    PPR delays due to covid-19

Is it hard for outlanders with approved GCMS notes to move to Nigeria right now? Looks like IRCC office in Accra is sending out tons of CoPRs.

    PPR delays due to covid-19

In 2022, people will hope for 2023. People will pray the year 2020+k+1 will be better than the year 2020+k every year, until "Covid restriction is lifted". Will Covid restriction ever be lifted in our life? LOL.

Applying for work permit with approved PR

Just looked at the details. My job is professional and exempt from LMIA. The employer still needs to submit the job offer and a fee, though.

Applying for work permit with approved PR

I applied via express entry, federal skilled worker program without the job offer.

Applying for work permit with approved PR

Hi everyone, I have an already approved PR application (according to GCMS notes and call center) stuck at Ottawa Office for eternity. The application was submitted Nov 2019 and approved in March, but I have not received a CoPR or any communication from them since then. I am from the US and I...

    PPR delays due to covid-19

I don't think we can nudge Ottawa in any effective way. It's not that Ottawa doesn't know about us - they sure know and know full well about our situation. I think Ottawa has already made a decision for outlanders, and rightfully so. Our application status now is already an answer from them that...

    PPR delays due to covid-19

FSW-O, not from India Ottawa isn't working on outland applicants at all. My GCMS shows Final: approved since March 2020, still nothing from them. Medical already expired in October. Nobody even looked at my file. I called them up they just said "be patient, you turn will come". I am ready to...

Yes. It is not right. I don't know how many Nov 2019 applicants are still waiting. I would guess a couple thousand "Final:approved" applications. There is no point to dwell on this because that's the way they manipulate your psychology. It is no different if they simply ask you to roll a dice...

I agree with you. I also think it's intentional. They are ghosting us because they don't have any nice things to say except "we plan to hold your application for as long as possible until we can find a reason to rescind our decision and refuse you". They have power to refuse all applications...

IRCC Testing New Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal

They do. The plan is to not finalize and forget that these applications exist.

Anyone with VO : CPC-Ottawa gotten COPR?

My AOR is in Nov 2019, final: approved on GCMS from a long time ago. Nothing from them. I am getting mad because they should give at least clear communication as to what their plans are about outlanders. My job in Canada will start in July 2021. Given their current rate it's not even clear if I...

Anyone with VO : CPC-Ottawa gotten COPR?

Nope. Given that they are still taking in work permits, student visas and picking up stateless refugees from overseas amid covid, this long delay of finalizing approved PR applications is simply power abuse.

IRCC Testing New Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal

Does "move on to outland applicants" mean virtual landing for outland applicants?

Wondering if IRCC makes money off of our medical fees. If not, likely they will extend it, just a guess.

Current Status of US Outland Applications

I sent an intent to travel webform yesterday. Still waiting to hear back from them. It looks like many outland applications from the US are on hold at CPC-Ottawa. My application was approved back in March and got stuck in Ottawa. No CoPR or anything. US citizen.

Same here, CoPR generated but not started. It will expire in two months though because the medical will expire. Has CPC-Ottawa reopened?

    PPR delays due to covid-19

Makes sense. Most US applications seem to be stuck at CPC-Ottawa. Mine is there, approved in March. Heard nothing from them except impatient replies.

Glad to see so many outlanders are staying positive. The longer I keep on waiting the more conspiratorial things come to mind. I hope they are not waiting for the opportunity to reject us all.. there's no reason to, right?
