No, I do not see any update on linked PR Card application.

I submitted on 9th January via FedEx. Photos are delivered per FedEx tracking but there is no confirmation from Vancouver office and nothing on the linked application.

Has anyone tried calling Vancouver Immigration office? I have to travel outside Canada and need to understand how long I have to wait :(

It depends on your VO. For me VO is Vancouver and I got request to send photos and copy of CoPR Information Letter via courier/post to Vancouver office. I think some other VOs are doing online but Vancouver definitely isn't.

It has been removed from the profile as it was not making any sense.

Where did you get request to create profile in PR portal? I have also received my CoPR today but it does not mention anything other than sending photos to the lcoal visa office. Also did you send just photos and copy of CoPR pdf to your local visa office?
