August 2018 AOR - join here

They did read my claim, and responded to my CSE (that contained proof that I'd completed biometrics), and said that they were forwarding to the relevant department. They also responded to my technical issue glitch saying that it's an ongoing issue and they are looking to resolve it as soon as...

If you use the link in your AOR pdf, you shouldn't need the visa office (as it doesn't ask for one). I submitted both a CSE, and a technical issue, and heard back regarding the technical issue saying that it's an ongoing technical issue and they are looking to resolve it as soon as possible, and...

Hi. Just wanted to clarify. Did you call CIC or VFS to clarify that? Because I'm in the same situation, and when I asked VFS why my profile hadn't updated, they told me to submit a CSE.

I am in a similar situation. When I called my VFS, they said it might take time to get to the embassy/visa-office, and asked me to check back in a week. I would recommend you to call your VFS to see if you get the same response from them. It is the visa-office that will need to update your...

I was in the same situation as you. Had a 6.5 in the writing (even though I write for a living as a researcher). Score bumped my from 417 to 475 after re-eval, and I submitted my PR application a few weeks ago :) Hope it goes in your favor! :D

I had similar scores to yours and got bumped up to a 7 for writing. I also took a second exam while waiting in the mean time, and both scores were good enough for me to receive an ITA :D

If you're confident that you answered the question, probably a 60% chance of an increase. i had similar scores, and was confident, and saw and increase in the score with EOR in my writing.

Any page with a visa or stamp that indicates travel also needs to be included. I used this website to compress my pdfs, and it worked well: https://www.ilovepdf.com/

It's possible, but not very likely. Unless you're extremely confident that you did well the first time, I would recommend sitting a new test.

    My final scores: 1st IELTS - 30th June - LRWS - 8 9 6.5 9 (Before EOR). LRWS - 8 9 7 9 (After EOR: Received 28th July). 2nd IELTS - 2nd August - LRWS - 9 9 7 8.5. Got the score I needed after the first EOR, so I won't have to spend money on this test again!

My center said it would take a minimum of 8-11 weeks to get the EOR back (which is why I registered for a new test). However, I heard back in less than 10 business days, which was surprising! I wasted money on a new test because my center said it would take so long to process.
