The same thing happend to me.I leave it empty.because I was house wife.and they return it to me.so I write I was home maker from date to date...,and they accepted that way.

I think because a lot of people apply for citizenship ,and they are understaff ,they can't handle all this application fast, can we do something about that ?no, we have only 3 option ,wait ,be patient, and live our life.....

just wait until April, and then decide what to do, i don't think is a good idea to renew your pr card ,because I hear once you do that they put on hold your citizenship application, and that's normal they ask for translation, because number in hijria is difficult to understand ,just be patient...

hi, i have a friend that apply for citizenship, delivered in 26 February 2018 ,and she get test invite 15 January 2019 for the 6 February 2019 ,north York her application in Scarborough, so before 1 month and a half to complete 1 year, I guess Mississauga office is more slow then Scarborough...

hi try to be patient, and positive, your turn will come one day, send them webform maybe they will give you the answer you want...,check ecas every week, don't panic ,lately they processes files slow .and don't compare yourself to others .

hi I call IRCC also today, at 1h00 pm ,and they tell me that my file is still in verification ,and when it's done they will send test invite, by the way I am from Etobicoke ,and my file is in Mississauga .

They send me back my app also.and it was missing information like you. What I do is I fill the missing information with pen.it was question 11.and I send it back to them.I advice you to do the same.my app is in process now.
