How much is it costing your wife in terms of medication costs? The new threshold suggests if the cost is under $19,812 per year, it should be okay.

Nope I got this job after completing my one year experience for CEC. And even the days I took off were sick leave which were all paid.
I have the paystubs showing sick leave as paid. I just wanted to make sure to be sure.
I’ve taken days off (over a month in total this year) due to my lower back pain so wanted to make sure if it’s mandatory to submit them. Don’t want it to be an issue.

As an international student, you may be eligible to take a semester off.
Best advice is to speak with her Programme coordinator and they will guide her to the best of their capabilities.
