No ECAS update for us yet, BUT our MP did say that CIC got back tot hem about our file, and they're doing the background checks now. Hopefully this means we'll get PPR soon! It seems like they may finally be getting around to us Feb applicants!

From what I understand, CSQ and your embassy (Bogota) will process your concurrently; meaning that they both have your file and are doing what they need to do at the same time. I do not have to go through this process though, so my information may not be 100% correct. Hopefully someone more...

I'm pretty sure that they are asking for copies of your ID, birth certificate, passport, etc that establish your identity. For our application, we made colour copies of these documents.

We sent out our application yesterday, and since it's only going down the street, I'm sure it will be received today! I'm so excited to finally have ito ut of my house!
