What do you mean? Is there official communication about oath processing for November and December applicants or just reading some people timeline? Maybe this guy applied online in late 2020 or early 2021

I do not understand the narrative arround all these delays i calledand the automated ansower states that if your application mailed after January 14th application process not started yet. This is so un true. So manu November 2020 applicants as well 2021 are done with process and have passport...

I get it, we too came from war zone countries. Piece of mid is what we need, is not enough all the stress.

Looking to the news now the minister announced prioritizing applications from ukrain. We are 28 months waiting and you know what, we are from crisis countries too, we need piece of mind . My heart and thoughts with ukrain people because we know how war feels.

I have seen the news today and honestly i would agree that no one should be in office downtown every day when crazy people blocking streets and harassing the ones with mask i feel much better when roads are cleared, fingers crossed , hope we get some progress soon

Also how many people are you seeing in ceremony currently for Ottawa ? I am loosing hope to get anything soon. They often send invites 20 days prior to ceremony, if i received it today will be March 18!!!! So i am afraid that ceremony will be 2023 with this speed of snails

The date of the ceremony is the date on which you become Canadian or the date when officer print the certificate ?

It is depressing. We are waiting for the oath now almost 4 months, i dont beleive there will be any sign on progress with what’s happening downtown.

They had excuse to not work onsite for 3 weeks due to truckers blockage of downtown. I dont think we had any progress, specially the paper based applications . If truckers go away and streets are clear maybe it give us some hope

You still good in my opinion. The point here is they ignoring older applications and focusing on new online ones.
