Applied: Nov 12 Biometrics: Done earlier From inside Canada, Parents are outside Canada. Nothing started! Portal shows nothing!

Canada has really dropped the ball on TRV... most offices now taking more than 4months to process TRV. Good luck you guys getting TRV so soon.

It is NOT 1-2weeks. Not sure where u got that information. Right now most offices are delayed, it is taking months even that is considered fast.

Thanks for the reply. We have kind of given up on it. 4.5 Years and still no decision. The funny thing is now they have stopped replying to emails. I think it's because, since Sept they stopped working on older applications??? Maybe. we are not sure, where to contact or call or write a letter...

Are you guys getting emails or calls from CIC for your test invites?

Definitely re-new PR card. You always want to make sure you have an up-to-date Canadian Travel Document. Even if you get a test invite, you may not become a citizen until summer. Never put yourself in a situation where you don't have a document in hand.

How many of us waiting for the Test invite after it got canceled in March 2020? Seems like people who got Oath invite did their Test before the cancellation.

When we emailed them, its "pending security clearance". Yet no mention of this in the officer's note.
