I think the relationship is what it matters , even if the address was not where you was living earlier in india doesn't matter, as we give the address in the passport is in canada ,

@smtele there was only a call and verifying all the details in forum and relationship with the person . but it took 3 weeks to goto next step But i have seen some of them in forum , who have got in person verification too

it takes at-least a week to go in to OCI website for acknowledgement

With the current pandemic situation , if you have time , its good to take OCI as they can block any time visa holders . Also when you get visa , you cant renew and its every time 330 plus dollars for fresh visa .
