What do you mean by ECAS? the online portal? I believe that will happen after one receives an AOR with their application ID

Thank you all for the input. My spouse qualifies for express entry so I won’t be sponsoring her. The lawyers are just helping me to make amendments. I had a conversation with an immigration officer from CIC and they said they can make the amendments.

I forgot to add a detail, I got married after I filed my PR not before. Just forgot to update the status while I got my passport request. Attorneys are very positive that it is okay. Will see how it goes. Thanks for all the replies :)

I doubt PR will be revoked or banned because criminal offenses are more in that line. Just a marital status update failure wont be that harmful. Will talk to an attorney today.

I am already done with my landing and I realized this when I was ready to file for my wife. What is a solution? File express entry instead? Amendment to the landing paper can take months

I forgot to update my marital status before receiving my landing paper and now my landing paper says single. If I apply for my spouse PR under family immigration will there be problems? How much do amendments take?
