    @Fastener: It takes between one and two months. When I got mine, a few years ago, it took almost 3 months but back then the postal service almost went on strike, so that delayed everything. Hopefully now it's only a few weeks to get the PR card.

    You can definitely sign up for more than one, especially if each offers a different kind of services. In Manitoba you can sign up for the Immigrant Centre Pre-Arrival Centre: www.ic-pac.com , there you can request services in English, Tagalog, Spanish or French.
