Leaving Canada Temporarily while spouse's PR (outland) is in progress Sponser being PR and sponsorship eligibility is Approved

Not just saying this for the sake of argument. But every documented case in the recent 2-3 years suggest that there no issues with living abroad during spousal sponsorship and most ppl including me have raised webforms to notify IRCC about the travel. I checked canlii to make sure I know the...

Leaving Canada Temporarily while spouse's PR (outland) is in progress Sponser being PR and sponsorship eligibility is Approved

Hahahaha, You have discouraged me with every effort I made with IRCC. Starting with my PR, Spouse PR and Parents PR. I applied for Outland-PR and stayed in Canada for months, applied for outland spouse PR and stayed outside Canada for several months. Finally I applied for PGP in 2020, which was...

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

IRCC is planning for 28,500 PGP invites this year, 34k next year and 36k for 2025 https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2023-2025.html

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

One small correction, IRCC sent 23,100 invites expecting at least 15,000 complete applications. If all 23,100 applicants sent complete applications that qualify then all 23,100 will have to be approved by IRCC. So for now, I would safely assume that 155,313 - 23,100 = 132,213 applicants are in...

Rental house for a newcomer in Jan 2023 [Winter]

Rent isn't the top concern here. Trust is. Here there are strict laws that favor tenants mostly. With the experience I got renting my home to a new comer, I would be twice concerned to do it again. It is legally possible for a tenant to not pay rent for several months, ruin the property and...

Realistically, How much money is enough to for early days?

I cant take public transport anymore for groceries, I live in the suburbs now and got used to driving for the past few years. But when I landed in 2018, I sold my car in the US and moved to the Manulife center building at the Bay/Bloor area in Toronto. I never had any issues with groceries...

    Police Certificate from Mexico? Confusing

No notification email, no responses to webforms, IRCC phone support confirmed that they cant see PCCs on file, even if they did they cannot disclose it to me. I was dead in the water, until my application got approved. But that's my experience, may be you can raise a webform and call IRCC...

Realistically, How much money is enough to for early days?

This advice sounds about right. I would personally recommend not bringing the entire family right away. Instead find a decent room mate accommodation which could cost between $700-$1000 (all incl) in Mississauga or DT Toronto and find a job. Both cities offer good transit, so a car wont be...

Background Check Completed - Is PCC a problem still?

Hi Folks, On my citizenship application, I had submitted the same PCCs from my PR application in 2018, for all countries that I lived over 6 months. None of them have an expiration date and I never been to those countries after immigrating to Canada, The one exception is Mexico. As Mexican PCC...

    Police Certificate from Mexico? Confusing

Had a similar issue earlier. The mail was stuck at a post office location in the same street as the Canadian embassy, it was there for 3 months and tracking showed, 'Reached local post office, awaiting delivery'. I finally had a friend's mom in DF visit that location and get it cleared.
