    DECEMBER 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

You are not alone my friend. My timelines are pretty similar to yours. I received AOR1 on Jan 4th and nothing after that. I am hoping that the file is okay and they do not return it after months. Looking forward for SA/MR/BI in the coming week. Good luck to you.

Could not agree more to what you said. I am not concerned about the time it takes as my wife is already here in Canada. I am just hoping that they do not return the file after 2-3 months for some reason. But yes, you are absolutely right to be optimistic and expect for everything to go smooth...

    May 2019 Citizenship Application

Hi, It depends on the number of people in your group for the oath ceremony. Ideally it should not take more than 1-2 hours at max. My ceremony was scheduled for 1:30 pm at Scarborogh and I had 85 people in my group. The ceremony lasted for about an hour. We were done by 2:45 pm. Hope this helps...

I called them last week and all they told me was "Everything looks okay on the file and we do not see any flags". But, that does not help me to get a bit less frustrated as the info provided is way too limited.

I would certainly see this as a good sign as the files processed at Mississauga are processed much faster than many other locations. Secondly, you have made it all the way to the final steps(Congrats for that.!). If there were any issues with any of your documentation (other than results of your...

Hi, Once you are done with the medical and the results are provided to CIC by your physician; the next step would be to wait for CIC to review the medical results and make a decision on your application. Given below are the steps that you may expect moving forward. Medical Results Received by...

    DECEMBER 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Hi Everyone, I will appreciate your inputs on a question I have. Since we have received the AOR, would you recommend waiting for the medical request at this time or would it make more sense to have it done and uploaded before the request (to save 2-4 weeks). I know we should have done it before...
