What does a background check for inland common-law applications usually involve? (Applicant employment history, residence address history, etc. - like do they actually check every apartment you've lived in or job you've worked at?) and do they do a separate check for the Sponsor as well?

For our inland common-law application, I (sponsor) submitted my 2017 Notice of Assessment. I've had to make changes to my past return recently and was wondering if I should submit this new reassessed NOA to IRCC? or only if they ask for it? Also, in the NOA, is there anything that lets IRCC...

Currently have our common-law sponsorship app in process. Does IRCC check all mentions of you on social media (like do they monitor social media activity for both Sponsor and PA as part of background check)? Even if we have all our social media accounts private?

March 14 applicant. Just had the PA's medical exam done today and hopefully everything passes. Question for background check: Does IRCC do different kinds/levels of background checks depending on the application or is it pretty much the same for all? (like checks for OWP, Visitor, PR Sponsorship)

I had the same status on my account this morning. A few hours later i received a message requesting for a medical exam. App received: March 14 AOR: April 27 Medical Request: May 14

So is it still possible to have your application returned even after you’ve received AOR? We received AOR on April 27

Does anyone know if an application is returned would it show up in ECAS (like we returned your application on...) and would it show with the date it was sent back?

Was able to link OWP to online account today :) Was locked out twice due to multiple failed attempts. App sent March 14, AOR received April 27. Used UCI and family name + Passport details
