    She applied oct 30, had medical request in nov and this month got an updated request for a new LOA , we are still working with her university to get the updated letter

    was your spouse in canada? If not your file may have been transferred to the country where your spouse was for further processing and the processing times may have been shorter there OR this upfront medical may have sped up your process
