How about the work permit? When I use the online tool, it says I need to give biometrics if I am applying for a new work permit, but if I am applying for permanent residency, I don’t have to... So I am wondering if any of you guys who applied for OWP also paid for biometrics?

Can anyone please confirm with me whether inland applicants need to do biometrics or not... I got different answers from different people...

First, you can track the parcel with Fedex. You will get a signature when your application is delivered. However, you have to wait several weeks before they open your package. They will send the sponsor acknowledgment of receipt through email.

I used web form asking for a refund as I paid everything altogether. Hope they can return the money to me.

You can try restoring your status. However, it may take 3-4months to get your status restored and will take another 3-4 months to get a work permit. It really depends on your choice. Wish you all the best.

I successfully linked my PR application but not my work permit application to my account. No data shown on eCAS, yet.

AOR stands for acknowledgement of receipt. A sponsor will receive it through email when IRCC starts processing the application and confirms the application is complete and won’t be returned. You can read the thread stick to the top in the Family Class Sponsorship Category. There are more things...

I know what you are saying, but the fact does not match with what client support agents told us. Anyway, we all know that it is not just receiving AoR, but it relates to a whole bunch of other things in our lives. I guess forgetting about the previous processing records would be more realistic.

The agent I spoke to today said, to them, applications are processed in chronological order...lol She told me to wait for another 2 weeks...
