the whole process took almost whole 2 years. we filed our application in May 2011 and was processed at Buffalo. then transferred to Ottawa in June last year. it is a painful process, but i am just glad it is finally over....... Hope all you fellows' applications go smoothly. Take care, all...

I changed my address both online and through email to ottawa, and i have not received any response. i am starting to get worried. :(

Actually is that even possible? I thought they send all applications to other offices for further processing.

This is awful. we called last Friday and confimed that our case is still in Ottawa. God knows how long it will stay there before getting transferred to other office. and god knows how long we will hear back from the office that processes our case. >:(

I filed application to sponser my wife in May 2011, and case got transferred to Buffalo in July 2011. Started processing in April 2012. I just contact CIC call center, they told me that our case is still with Ottawa. i thought our cases should be distributed to embassies in USA for processing...

Hi all, can someone please help answer the following question? I am immigrant and I submit an outland application to sponsor my wife which is being prcossed at Buffalo office. Her work visa is expiring in an month and a half. How can I renew her work visa? ::)
