It is strange. If any request comes from Sydney, it will delay the process. The local processing office is fast. I got FP too but it is from the Vancouver office as it is my local processing office.

after u gave ur fingerprint, how many days they took to update the status? Today, I gave my fingerprint in Vancouver, they said they sent it to Ottawa. From Ottawa, they will send it to the IRCC Vancouver office. I don't know how many days it takes for them to complete.

I called IRCC today, I was informed that my security check has been completed and criminality is in-progress. Fortunately, my application is now in the Vancouver office. Last month, it was in Sydney and nothing started. Good sign.
