I believe it means that the certificate has been processed. The standard delivery for the certificate is Canada Post, regular mail. I believe the only reason a certificate would be couriered is if you have requested urgent processing. In that case, I believe you're sent a tracking number...

It varies and depends on when your Citizenship Certificate is processed by the officer/agent handling your file. In my case the Certificate was processed immediately after the Oath Ceremony (yesterday) and the status updated to closed the next day (today).
