Each visa office is different. When my husband sent out the email, they sent him a confirmation email after 1 day stating that they have received the email. They will forward the email to right department and it will take 10 business days to hear back from them.

Wait for a bit, usually email follows in few hours.

Check your email or with your lawyer (if you have a rep) looks like they have requested something from you. Could be PPR request :)

I bet on the LEAVE part :( , they requested additional marriage photos in March which we did send next day. Our BGC didn't even start yet!

Unfortunately nothing at all, just dead silence. 15 days left only for the 1 YEAR mark.

JULY 9th - It's very upsetting our BGC has NOT started yet. Less than 3 weeks for 1 year mark!!

@AmaarAmad, Canadian phone line is 1888 -242-2100, option 1, option 1, option 2, and then option 3. Key in applicants file number and date of birth. Note that the automated system is down for almost 3 weeks so you will not be able to here your file status.
